Large format mounting and laminating opens up all kinds of new possibilities for the display of  fine artwork. Mounting to a substrate provides a flat, smooth and rigid surface. This is beneficial when framing larger pieces, as it prevents rippling or sagging.  As frame-less images become more popular, artists are using this technology to expand the way we view their images. Color Space offers a number of mounting options from inexpensive, acid- free foam core, to sintra, dibond and face mounting to plexiglass. These and other substrates are available in multiple thicknesses and are available up to 60″ wide. Please contact us for details about the many options available, including hanging, etc. Also, all adhesives used in the mounting process are archival.

Lamination is a way of protecting an image by either placing a protective layer on just the front or by double laminating the image front and back. Just like paper, laminates come in varying thickness and finishes. Please note that not all laminates are archival. Feel free to contact us for availability and pricing. See some selected examples of our mounting and laminating.
